Repair your broken tube system carriage latch - No need to replace the tubes!

If your machine is telling you "Open window and check printhead cover is properly closed," the most likely cause is the upper frame on the ink tube system is cracked or broken. The printhead cover on the carriage locks into the lower latch in the ink tube system. If the lower latch is compromised, the machine will not function.

Carriage Latch Repair

I needed a new carriage latch. Ordered delivered in a timely manner. As I was repairing this other parts started to break because my machine is older and the plastic is very thin. So I had to order tube kit. It was delivered in a timely manner. I am back up and running. Love the videos, without them not sure I could have made repairs myself. Love LPS.
