Question:

"The plotter is a T2530. It was giving error code 06.1:10, and after I replaced the disk, it's giving error code 59.5:19, showing that it's not compatible.

M.L."

Answer:

The disk you installed is loaded with firmware for the T1500 and T2500. The T2530 requires a different disk, and that is why you are seeing error 59.5:19.

The correct disk for the T2530 is available here: 500GB SATA Hard Disk Drive L2Y22-67004 / L2Y21-67004

One more thing worth knowing before you install a replacement: the disks we sell are "virgin" status, meaning they have no serial ID until they are installed in a printer and the printer is powered on. Once a disk is installed and the printer powers up, the disk permanently pairs with that printer's serial number. After that, the disk cannot be transferred to and used in a different printer, so make sure you have the right disk for your model before installing it.

Best,

Tim Wert
