"We purchased the HP1050C ink tube replacement and are in the process of bringing the plotter back up. The system is not recognizing the set-up printheads and is only flashing a “insert printhead” message. We tried reseating the printheads but this is as far as we get. What should be looked at/redone/reviewed… to move forward? "I have had this printer for a long while but didn't use it for a while. I had to replace the ink assembly because it had air in the tubes. I replaced all the print head and am having issues with the cyan head. The first new head kept saying reseat so I had them ship me a new one. "Our 1055CM is leaking badly at the print head and over the head cleaners. Some times it'll make it through one poster before it pukes up a bunch of cyan or black on the poster & all over the head cleaners. " It is possible the print head valve (inside the print head) is not working and pressurized ink is present while it is printing.  This will cause a virtual ink leak.  If you replace the print head and the loose ink is still present, replace the ink tube system.   Bob
