Oil for Carriage Rail

Universal HP Designjet Lubricating Oil for Carriage Rails

0.5 oz bottle of synthetic oil tailored for HP Designjet carriage rails. This is a non-evaporating oil. It is recommended you wipe down your carriage rail(s) every 4-6 months, depending on your environment. This is to keep paper dust and and other particulates off your carriage rail, and to ensure smooth, uniform motion of the carriage, providing maximum precision for your HP Designjet printer.

Auxiliary Printhead Seals and Purger Kit for Designjet

As an artist, a substantial part of my income comes from selling prints of my artwork produced with a Designjet Z2100 Photo.
The cost of inks for this printer and the low speed of the printer are compensated by the fact that I have developed a way of consistently printing with high quality on a 380 gm offset couché cardboard that is much cheaper than any equivalent inkjet paper.
Recently, however, the printer started loosing ink onto the starweel rail cover, due to deteriorated inkport seals (where the print heads connect). Because I couldn’t ´find a technician able to solve the problem, I was considering replacing the damaged inkports with the four extra (unused) inkports on the carriage train, but I was in a hurry and not sure I would succeed…
Thanks to your brilliant Upgraded Printhead Seals the problem was solved in no time and the Z2100 is back in business, as usual.
Thank you for the great service you provide us.

The z3200 plotter came back to life

I found recommendation to buy this oil on one of the printer repair sites - and it did miracle. Plotter used to fail a self test and was not funtional. The error indicated the issue with accuracy of carriage movement (can't remember the detail now). I switched it off and plotter came back to life once I lubricated the rail and moved carriage back and forth couple times to distribute oil evenly. Will keep an eye on it but so far so good. Thank you so much.
