Note: Check your model number on the label at the back of the printer. Models ending in "B" need this drive; models ending in "A" need the Revision A drive.

Note: The drive comes with fresh firmware and has never been installed in a printer. A hard disk takes on the ID and password of the first printer it is installed in, so a used drive from another printer will not work.

The drive mounts on the formatter board, the plug-in board with the Ethernet connector, which lifts out of the printer with two thumb screws. Replacing the drive takes less than 5 minutes with a Phillips screwdriver.
