Carriage Rear Bushing, HP OEM or Carbon Fiber (LPS Brand)


This bushing sets the plotter carriage height. This part fits Designjet 500, 800, T610, T1100, T1120, T1200, T1300, T770, T2300, T7100, Z2100, Z3100, Z3200, Z5200, and Z5400 printers. 


The LPS Brand bushing is made using abrasion-resistant, carbon fiber-reinforced plastic. This is a very tough bushing with increased limb thickness to prevent the bushing from breaking during installation. Includes a LIFETIME warranty.


HP OEM bushing does not include a warranty.

We are from Australia and with our business we have been using a Designjet 800 42inch plotter since 2001. It was experiencing some double printing, vibration and some noise while carriage traveling back and forth. We emailed Tim Wert and got an immediate reply, diagnosing the problem as a broken rear carriage bushing. We ordered the part using Priority Mail International, and it arrived in no time. We pulled the machine apart, using the YouTube video by Bob Wert on how to replace the belt. We replaced this tiny well worn part with our new one, and away we went, hopefully for another 20 odd years. Thank you so much for keeping this marvelous machine going. Couldn't be happier.

Fixed my last carriage issue

While fixing a "paper jam" error (like that is ever what that error actually is) an odd piece fell out and then the carriage started to hit the station on the right of the printer. Found out the piece was a broken bushing. Only found that out thanks to this site and comparing the broke part to what is in stock. Saved me tons of troubleshooting.
