Desisgnjet 5500 0B000A error - Power Supply

Posted by Bob Wert on

We have received Error Code 010030 034c95a consistently now regardless of the outlet into which it's plugged. I've tried it in different circuits in two different rooms – even our surge-protected emergency outlet. On a couple of occasions the printer has also displayed 0b000a 030f053b and "Check Cleaner Path." These have appeared only a few times out of the thirty-or-so restarts. I'm wondering if you have any suggestions, otherwise it's looking more like I'll have to call a service company. Which is too bad because the ones in our area are not great. I'd appreciate any help you can offer....

I am asking for your valuable help. When I was testing carriage assbly on mode access to plotter HP T 1100 it did not pass.  when testing pens voltage step plotter shows an error message 02.1:10.  I check on system error codes and I see it is a carriage PCA failure, maybe is the reason because the printer does not accept black gray printhead. Reseat Print Head over and over

Posted by Bob Wert on

I have had this printer for a long while but didn't use it for a while. I had to replace the ink assembly because it had air in the tubes. I replaced all the print head and am having issues with the cyan head. The first new head kept saying reseat so I had them ship me a new one. It worked fine then started spitting out blue ink all over the paper. I reset the printer and now it keep saying to reseat that print head over and over. If I put the old print head that has run...

This error indicates a short in the 24V electronics circuits. Do not replace the Power Supply; This message only indicates the failure, and is not the cause. Usually this message appears after the insertion of a Trailing Cable into the connectors. This message means that the Trailing cable is incorrectly connected, and it is creating a short on the 24V circuit.  To isolate the problem, remove the Trailing Cable from the back of the Printer and check whether the Printers powers up correctly.  If the Printer powers up correctly, the problem could have been a bad So, I went back...

New Print Heads failing after a few prints

Posted by Bob Wert on

Last week the light cyan ink cartridge was getting low and the printer stopped printing with an error.  I didn’t notice the print head symbol was flashing, I just assumed it was too low on ink. I replaced the ink cartridge, started it up and then noticed the flashing print head symbol.  I cleaned the contacts but that did not work.  I ordered a new print head and replaced it two days ago and the printer worked for a few prints.  Today the same light cyan printhead flashing symbol is back.    Help?  Alan Stacy When a print head is replaced...
