Question:

"Hi Tim, hope all is well. I also wanted to ask: do you have any do's and don'ts for the Z5600? Things that I should avoid, and things that I should make sure that I continuously do, so that this printer can start running correctly and have longevity?

Also, would you say connecting my printer to the internet using an ethernet cable is mandatory?

J.E."

Answer:

I would leave the printer disconnected from the internet unless you have a need.

Use the syringe tool to purge the ink tube system once every 6 months. If you haven't done it before, our ink tube purging video guide walks through the process.

Print at least once per week.

That's about it! I used to use a Z5600 to print all my family photos, and even did a few fine art prints on coated canvas. It's a great machine if you can get it running.

Best,

Tim Wert
