Note: The drive comes with fresh firmware and has never been installed in a printer. A hard disk takes on the ID and password of the first printer it is installed in, so a used drive from another printer will not work.

Better than I expected!!!

Just what I needed

We had several power failures from storms, and think that damaged our T1300's HDD. It was pretty old anyway. We were happy to find LPS online. Our local tech also recommended LPS. Their service was great. I needed some instructions to be sure I installed it correctly. Then I needed to update the firmware. The LPS support was awesome! I highly recommend LPS if you need to replace your Designjet HDD.
Just a note - our T1300 printed great for a few days, then suddenly overnight had error codes. I was able to troubleshoot it. It turned out to only be a bad printhead. I keep extras on hand, so was back printing. It had nothing to do with the new HDD. Have faith if your printer acts up after replacing the HDD!

Replacement HD for T790

Worked perfectly. Only issue is that I had to use USB to flash the updated firmware before it would boot.
