What's included

Note: For the paper advance calibration you need photo gloss or photo matte media. The media is not in the Kit Light; it is included in the full belt kit.

Note: Choose the belt by the maximum print width of your printer. The belt itself is longer than the print width, so a 24-inch printer uses the "24-inch" belt even though the belt measures more than 24 inches.

Installation

With average mechanical skills you can replace the belt and calibrate the printer in 1 to 3 hours. Allow 2 to 4 hours the first time through.

The replacement procedure can be found in the "removal and installation" section of the service manual: HP Designjet T1100 / T610 service manual.

z3200 belt kit replacement video

The video was fairly good, but in a few places it caused many rewinds and replays and head scratching. Bottom line, printer functioned properly right off the bat and I was pleased. But it tookl me maybe 2 hours more time than it should have. (Ive replaced the belt on 2 previous Z series printers. Wish I could tell you which particular areas left me confused, but my memory is not quite what it used to be ;-)

I can print again!

LPS have made a video on youtube that shows you in detail how to change the belt. It is essential viewing! But if you follow it and can use a screwdriver then you can replace the belt. It took me about 4 hours, but I was being very careful.

Great quality and directions

The kit was spot on what I needed. All the tools you need are 100% in the kit. I found that having my own 3" extended T10 came in handy in order to access the screw in the Service Station to then move the Carriage, came in handy to avoid other items in that area. Bob's video was spot on ( and funny .."the screws tend to breed"). Thanks you!
