BEFORE YOU ORDER: Please make sure you select the right length of belt. Although this belt is for a 60-inch machine, the actual length of the belt is longer than 60 inches. If your machine has a maximum print width of 42", you need the "42-inch" belt. 

HP has issued a variety of part numbers for the same part, different plotters.

Black belt that connects the carriage to the carriage motor and the belt tensioner. It runs the length of the plotter and moves the carriage left and right. This belt is for the 60" print width plotters.

Buy Genuine HP belts

I tried a belt from another company but was getting 86:01 errors. After watching a video from LPS HP expert Bob W. I found out the belt was the problem. I ordered a LPS HP belt and my Designjet is back to printing perfect. Thank you LPS and thanks Bob
