CPM Components
CPM uses network printer accounting software
that compiles an accurate list of all printing assets. The software
gathers information on each printer such as IP address, serial number,
black/color page count, toner levels, and dozens of other measurements.
The data is gathered and stored daily for use in reports.
A complete site survey is made to discover inefficiencies. A long term document output strategy is created and presented for approval and implementation.
The print fleet is optimized for maximum efficiency and return on technology investment. New technologies are phased in.
Print fleet management: Remote printer diagnostics, set-up and configuration are made from the keyboard - greatly reducing help desk workload.
Error conditions are automatically emailed
to LPS helping to reduce help desk workload. Expert Field Engineers
respond in 2 - 4 hours to make remedial repairs - further reducing
aggregate downtime.
IT/IS Managers can access the data at will.
Printer front panel text, status, % utilization, supplies levels, user
reports, and much more, are easily accessible. In addition, all the
information to make allocation/replacement decisions is easily
available.
Semi-annual preventive maintenance greatly reduces unplanned printer downtime.
Supplies inventories are automatically maintained by LPS weekly or monthly.
Monthly reports track performance to ensure projected savings are being experienced.
Billing is based on monthly page count reports
generated from the database. These are the only charges for CPM. There
is no management fee, cost for software, supplies, maintenance kits,
drum kits, or any other consumable items. Accounting is very easy to
track
